Salmon farming · ROV
Daily ROV records for salmon farms.
Mortality, nets, upwelling and predator nets: every day at a farm is one record with its layout, its photos and the signatures of the pilot and the site supervisor.
What gets recorded
Four reports on the same record.
- Mortality removalPen by pen, with its status and photos before and after.
- Net inspectionEvery point on the net with its depth, its status and its photo, on the face where it is: central walkway, outer side, sides or bottom.
- Upwelling inspectionHow each diffuser is working and what was observed.
- Predator net inspectionThe predator net sections facing each pen, with their findings.
- Farm layoutThe modules and their pens, drawn with the day's status.
The report
Approving is issuing.
- When approved, the report is archived as a PDF with its number and QR code.
- To correct it, it is reopened with a reason: a new version is issued with the same number, and the previous one stays in the archive.
- Nothing is deleted: a wrong record is voided with its reason and stays visible.
- With the signatures of the pilot and the site supervisor.
In the field
The net in 3D, to place every point.
In net inspection, each pen is shown in 3D with its faces and real dimensions: tap the net and the point is created in its place.
What repeats from day to day — the pilot, the equipment, the site manager — is suggested from the farm's previous record.
All data exports to Excel, one row per pen or per point, ready for analysis.
Questions
What companies in the industry ask.
Does every day become a work order?
Yes. Each daily record creates its work order, and the report number carries it.
Who can see each farm?
Each user sees the farms their company assigns them; an administrator sees them all.
Where do the pilot and the equipment come from?
The pilot comes from the Staff records and the ROV from its Equipment record, with its serial number.
